Inside, We Dream of Out
This photographic series captures a 36-hour journey aboard a train in Vietnam.
Inside, a suspended life unfolds, swaying corridors tremble with motion, confined souls wrestle with impatience, and fleeting moments of rest or isolation define the human experience. Each frame, imbued with the warm grain of analog film, reveals the tension of confinement, where passengers dream of the free world slipping by outside their windows. The project explores the duality of being trapped yet moving. Shot over 36 hours, the series reflects the rhythm of a long-haul train ride, rest, restlessness, and yearning, inviting viewers to feel the weight of time and the subtle brush against escape.
